Dietary Assistant
Job Overview
Ebenezer is looking for a Dietary Assistant/Server to join their team. This role is responsible for dining room meal service to senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for the Skilled Nursing Facility in Bloomington, MN.
This nutrition services schedule includes:
- 40 hours per two weeks
- Day/Evening shift
- Every other weekend
About the Role
Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus, is located in East Bloomington, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Managed by Ebenezer, they offer 137 units between Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, and Transitional Care. They have an outstanding team of tenured staff.

Responsibilities
Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
Affords kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floors
Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately
Requirements
No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting
Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required
Desire to work with seniors
Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff
