The Dietary Aide plays an important role in providing residents with nutritious, appealing meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. Responsibilities Assist with meal and snack preparation according to established menus and dietary requirementsPrepare and portion food for residents, ensuring meals are served accurately and attractivelyDeliver and serve meals and beverages to residentsAssist residents with meal service when neededFollow resident-specific diets, allergies, food preferences, and special meal requirementsMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and work surfacesWash dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipmentStock and organize food and dietary suppliesFollow proper food handling, sanitation, and infection-control proceduresComplete assigned cleaning duties and maintain a safe work environmentWork cooperatively with cooks, dietary staff, nursing staff, and other members of the care teamTreat residents with dignity, respect, patience, and kindnessPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous food service, dietary, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred, but not requiredMust be dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a teamAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailStrong customer service and communication skillsMust be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying food service itemsMust be willing to comply with all applicable health, safety, sanitation, and facility requirements Why Join Our Team?
