Dietary Aide Part Time

Responsibilities

• Aid in food preparation, serving, and maintaining clean and sanitary conditions.
• Ensure accurate serving portions and food items are on each tray before loading to the food cart.
• Use appropriate serving utensils; ensure temperatures are within standards (temperatures are logged and reviewed).
• Check and record excess/shortage preparation, discuss with the supervisor after tray-line.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's permit/ServSafe certification as per state requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English.
• Positive and cooperative relationship skills with residents, families, and co-workers.
• Pass drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
