Dietary Aide - Part Time

Casa de las Campanas offers upscale resort-style senior living in Rancho Bernardo. Our team improves the lives of seniors through exceptional hospitality and an all-inclusive lifestyle. We are seeking a Dietary Aide to support our Health Center dining services.

Responsibilities

• Provides table service to all residents in the Health Center Dining Room
• Assembles and delivers trays to appropriate areas within the Health Center
• Serves appropriate food items and adaptive wear within the Health Center
• Interacts with residents and nursing staff regarding food preferences and requests
• Cleans and resets tables after each meal
• Prepares and delivers between-meal nourishments
• Restocks nurses’ station and employee lounge to par levels, as assigned
• Performs all cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned
• Prepares and sets up all special events in the Health Center when scheduled

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and/or comparable related work experience
• One year of experience preferred in food service in a healthcare setting
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Ability to identify, address, and resolve dining room issues when appropriate
• Must pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility
• Some roles require COVID-19 vaccination status disclosure

$18.00 - $20.00 hourly
