Dietary Aide (Part-Time)

About the role

Heritage House Buckley, a beautiful memory care community in Buckley, WA, has a part-time opening for a Dietary Aide.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy homemade meals for residents
• Follow dietary guidelines and recipes provided by the chef
• Ensure food safety and proper handling of food items
• Assist with meal service and set dining tables
• May assist with light cleaning duties as needed

Requirements

• Current Food Handler’s Permit (or obtain prior to hire)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Criminal background check required
• Able to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 35 pounds routinely

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Dietary Aide or in an assisted living environment is a plus, but not required

$19-$19.50 per hour, DOE
