About the role
Heritage House Buckley, a beautiful memory care community in Buckley, WA, has a part-time opening for a Dietary Aide.
Responsibilities
- Prepare healthy homemade meals for residents
- Follow dietary guidelines and recipes provided by the chef
- Ensure food safety and proper handling of food items
- Assist with meal service and set dining tables
- May assist with light cleaning duties as needed
Requirements
- Current Food Handler’s Permit (or obtain prior to hire)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Criminal background check required
- Able to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 35 pounds routinely
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Dietary Aide or in an assisted living environment is a plus, but not required
Skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
