Dietary Aide (LTC)

Job Summary

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team at Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents by assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and hygienic dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparatory work for meals including setup of dining rooms
• Setup of food trays with condiments, napkins, juices, milk, etc.
• Serve meals to residents, pouring beverages, etc.
• Clear trays and dishes; resets dining rooms
• Assist with cleaning kitchen and storage area
• Dispose of trash
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements, like sitting, standing, and walking
• Ability to comply with departmental safety policies and procedures
• Ability to lift, up to 35 lbs.
• Computer skills a plus
• Flexible availability
• Must be able to work weekends
