Dietary Aide/Kitchen Helper (Part-time)

NEW Care, Inc. is seeking a dependable and energetic Dietary Aide/Kitchen Helper to assist the cook in preparing and serving nutritious meals, maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.

Responsibilities

• Store food properly in containers and off the floor.
• Follow proper sanitation and infection control procedures.
• Cover food in‑route to the serving area.
• Deliver meals on time in an organized and efficient manner.
• Follow correct procedure for isolation trays.
• Follow safe and proper procedures for hot/steam carts.
• Deliver nourishment and dietary supplements to units per schedule.
• Provide fresh drinking water to all residents per schedule.
• Properly dispose of garbage and waste.
• Sanitize food preparation equipment, dishes, and utensils per policy and procedures.
• Return items to their proper place.
• Maintain dependability and punctuality as outlined in the Attendance Policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No convictions for abuse, neglect, mistreatment, or misappropriation of property.
• Ability to read, write, perform simple calculations, and follow oral and written directions.
• Prompt and regular attendance.

Pay

$14.50 per hour

Schedule

Part‑time; two positions available for every‑other weekend, 6 am – 2 pm, covering Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
