Dietary Aide - Hospital

About the role

The Hostess/Dietary Aide position at Citizens Medical Center involves visiting inpatients to discuss menus and preferences, preparing and delivering meal trays, assisting with dish washing, and completing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Visit with in-patients to discuss the following day’s menus and their preferences.
• Prepare the evening meal trays.
• Assist with dish washing procedures.
• Plan and prepare production schedule and prepares the foods necessary to fill diet prescriptions during tray service.
• Wash dishes and trays.
• Complete required sanitation procedures.
• Deliver and pick up patient trays to and from patient care areas.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
• Includes working as Cafeteria Aide on weekends if necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous food service experience, preferred.
