About the role
Kadima at New Wilmington is looking for compassionate, caring individuals to join our strong dedicated team. Dietary Aides serve meals to our residents, prepare meal trays, and keep our kitchen clean and safe. As part of our Dietary team, you will assist in meeting the residents' daily dietary needs with every meal served. The goal is to provide excellent food services by following instructions and standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meal trays that are appetizing in appearance
- Deliver meal carts to designated area on time
- Obtain food supplies for next meal
- Clean trays/dishes when carts returned
- Wash dishes
- Assist in daily cleaning duties
- Must be able to work independently or in a group setting
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in food services is a plus
- Some previous experience as a dietary aide
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
- Friendly with good communication skills
- Good physical condition and stamina (standing for long periods of time)
Schedule
- 6:00am - 2:30pm
- 10:30am - 6:30pm
- 12:30pm - 8:30pm
