Dietary Aide Full-time, Part-time, and Per diem

Job Responsibilities

• Affords assistance with food preparation under supervision.
• Participates in tray line production to ensure accurate assembly of trays.
• Ensures timely delivery of assembled trays to dining rooms and nursing units.
• Utilizes dishwasher and pot washing sinks to ensure cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, pots, pans, cups, trays, and utensils.
• Maintains food service workspaces in a clean and safe condition.
• Cleans workspaces and cooking/serving equipment according to department procedures.
• Prepares and transports nourishments, supplements, and snacks to units in a timely manner.
• Maintains communication with nursing department and residents to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year of experience as a food service aide in an institutional setting is preferred.
• The ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
• Other languages are helpful.
