Dietary Aide, Full-Time
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food under the guidance of the Chef or Dietitian.
- Deliver dishes, trays, and designated times and rooms.
- Absorb and relay patient-specific dietary needs and restrictions to the Dietitian.
- Set up and clear up dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
- Handle dish, tray, and trash removals.
- Follow all sanitation guidelines, federal / state regulations, and Senior Living / Healthcare requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness of prep items.
- Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled and/or needed.
- Provide customer service and hospitality during nutrition delivery.
Education And Work Experience
- Required: High school diploma.
- Desired: One (1) year of food service experience including serving/waiting tables, cleaning and kitchen sanitation protocols, basic food/meal prep.
- Certificate(s): Current Food Handler’s Permit is required. Training in Servsafe is beneficial.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- May be required to lift or carry equipment or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent stooping, bending, climbing, reaching, pulling / pushing, and extended periods of standing, sitting, twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, or crouching.
- Must possess adequate sight and hearing to meet the responsibilities of this position.
Compensation
Pay Range: $15.28 - $19.83 per hour.
Reasonable Pay Estimate: A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $15.28 - $19.83 per hour. Numerous factors are considered in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
