Duties
- Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines and residents' preferences
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment, following health and safety protocols
- Engage with residents respectfully, addressing their dietary needs and preferences with a friendly attitude
- Adhere to all dietary procedures, facility policies, and state/federal regulations
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Current Food Handler certification is required
- Prior experience in a dietary, kitchen, or food service role, especially in a long-term care or healthcare setting, is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment
