Schedule

Hours vary depending on the assigned shift:

• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Shift premiums:

• $2.00/hour for 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) when working 4 or more hours on that shift
• Additional $2.00/hour for weekend shifts

Responsibilities

• Exhibit service excellence by being friendly, helpful, and accommodating to cafeteria customers
• Follow safe food handling practices, including taking food temperatures, using gloves, and storing food properly
• Use proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques on equipment, tables, chairs, work surfaces, cutting boards, and other areas
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks and ensure the cafeteria remains neat during service, with foods displayed appropriately
• Organize daily schedule to facilitate efficient food production, service, and restocking of food and non-food items
• Remain flexible and available for emergency situations requiring unusual staffing; assist other areas of the department as needed
• Recognize job relationships and function effectively within the organizational structure
• Maintain favorable attendance and report absences in accordance with the Employee Handbook
• Pursue professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and other means to stay current with industry trends
• Complete mandatory education and employee health screenings on time
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
