At Wilber Care Center, "Caring Is Our Calling," and at the forefront of the care we provide is ensuring that our residents enjoy quality services. Apart from resident care, one of the top indicators for resident satisfaction is the food and meals served, and as a result, our dietary team/dietary assistant/ dietary aides ensure that we are top notch!

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals and complete prep work under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays as needed.
• Discard leftovers and bus dining areas.
• Clean serving and eating areas, wash dishes, cooking vessels, and other items as assigned.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Aid in documenting resident's meal intake.
• Collaborate with the dietary team and nursing department on each shift.
• Adhere strictly to safety policies and procedures to ensure personal safety and safety of others.
• Follow the policies and procedures of the facility in accordance with regulations.
• Treat all residents with respect, enjoy the rewards of getting to know the people we serve, and recognize the value YOU bring to their lives.

Requirements

• A great attitude, high standards for quality, customer-oriented, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility, which include a medical and physical examination.
• Ability to work as a team, great collaboration.
• Must be able to pass applicable background checks.
• Weekend and holiday rotations required.
