Dietary Aide

Responsibilities

• Aid in food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure that plate and hot base lowerator are heated, steam table is properly heated.
• Accurately serve portions and food items on each tray before loading to the food cart.
• Use appropriate serving utensils; maintain food temperatures within standards.
• Log and review temperatures before tray-line; garnish, arrange, and clean all necessary items after tray-line.
• Record and discuss excess/shortage preparation with the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's permit and ServSafe certification as per state requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English.
• Positive and cooperative demeanor when interacting with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Pass drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.

Pay

$10.00/hr

Schedule

Split shift – 4 days on 2 off, 6a – 230p & 11a – 730p and 4 days on 2 days off, 6a-2p. These are full-time positions, hours. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
