Dietary Aide

Responsibilities

• Prepares and portions food appropriately for residents.
• Prepares and portions correct amount of food as determined meal tickets.
• Plates and serves food.
• Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operating procedures.
• Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes and utensils.
• Preparing all beverages including nectar, honey and pudding thick beverages.
• Distributes beverages to residents before meal time.
• Cleaning tables and stocking condiments, creamers, sugar etc.
• Performing correct sanitary measures

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and customer service is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Capable of taking direction well.
