Dietary Aide

Responsibilities

• Aid the dietary department in meal preparation and food service
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines for consistent food quality
• Cook meals considering dietary restrictions and special requests
• Maintain food safety and sanitation practices at all times
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to keep the workspace clean and organized
• Manage inventory and rotate stock
• Comply with all safety and health regulations

Requirements

• Prior experience as a dietary aide or similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and knife skills
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
