Dietary Aide

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience within a health care setting and knowledge of basic nutrition preferred.
• Must be able to perform clerical duties and be precise in calculating data.
• Prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner trays for delivery to Health Care residents.
• Assembles all food items on trays according to residents' menu selection.
• Provides "between meal" nourishments for Health Care residents.
• Assists in maintaining records of resident menu selections, nourishments, production sheets, and temperature logs.

What you would do at The Pines

• Set up the Health Center kitchens/meal service cart and the dining tables in the dining venues for service.
• Greets guests as they enter the dining venues.
• Assembles meals for each resident based on their requests, preferences, allergies and diet order.
• Assemble meal trays for residents dining in their rooms based on their requests, preferences, allergies and diet order.
• Properly portion all items for service.
• Maintain and clean the dining venues as assigned.
• Ensure each guest has an exceptional experience, addressing all guest requests and issues as appropriate.
• Stock Health Center pantries with snacks, nourishments, and food service supplies.
• Completes all documentation, such as, but not limited to, temperature logs, nourishment tracking, floor stock tracking, as assigned.
• Attend and participate in all department training as assigned.
