Dietary Aide

Job Summary

Skyview Rehab and Nursing is a short and long term care facility in Wallingford, CT. We are seeking Dietary Aides on a per diem basis, working afternoons with every other weekend coverage. Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents
• Assist with meal preparation and food service tasks
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining areas
• Support resident care routines related to meal times

Requirements

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification in food handling if required by state law

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and record keeping
