Dietary Aide

We are searching for customer service-oriented individuals to provide our residents with a quality dining experience. NO experience necessary! We will train the right people! Full Time & Part Time Work Available Morning (6:30am-2:30pm) and Evening (4pm-8pm) Shifts Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with light food preparationEnsure that all therapeutic diets are prepared and served as prescribed on resident's written slipPossess strong organizational and time management skillsPossess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a demanding healthcare environmentWorks in conjunction with the dietary supervisor and dietitian to provide a well-balanced meal for the patientsFollow the Health department rules and regulations on food preparation. Sanitation of the department will be maintained in accordance with Federal, State, County and City regulations Required Skills and Experience: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferredPast experience preferred, but we will train the right people!Must have knowledge of basic principles of foods and nutrition, food sanitationand service, familiar with large scale purchase and preparation of foodMust be well groomed and willing to wear hair covering
