Dietary Aide

Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital in Temple City, California, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide.

About the Role

As a Dietary Aide at Santa Anita Convalescent Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional care and delicious meals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold food and beverage as directed by the Cook or Dietary Services Supervisor
• Prepare trays during mealtime
• Check client's trays for proper and accurate food items and equipment
• Transport trays for meal service
• Follow posted cleaning schedule with utilization of proper sanitation and cleaning methods
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Team player
• Maintain regular attendance as necessary and essential to job function

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak and understand English
• Ability to follow and complete directions and tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
• Have a Food Handlers Card or able to get upon hire
• Open availability as schedule is based on census

Pay

Competitive hourly rate of $18.39 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time position including AM (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) and PM (11:00 am to 7:30 pm) shifts.
