Dietary Aide

About the role

Join our team at Regency Village at Bend as a Dietary Aid/Cook and play an integral role in creating exceptional culinary experiences for our residents. This position offers starting pay at $19.00 an hour.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver food to residents
• Confirm resident meal satisfaction
• Fill resident meal requests
• Bus tables, change table linens, and reset tables following meal service
• Ensure condiment and beverage containers are clean and filled
• Aid with food preparation as needed
• Plate food and deliver to tables and rooms
• Wash and sanitize dishes, tables, and chairs
• Reset tables and fold napkins
• Communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees

Requirements

• Ability to obtain Food Handler's card
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• Lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Maintain compassion and interest in working with the senior population
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor
• Have excellent customer service skills
