Dietary Aide

About the role

We are Regency Albany, a skilled nursing community located in the heart of the Willamette Valley. We are seeking caring and compassionate resident-minded individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for residents and fill requests
• Plate food
• Wash and sanitize dishes
• Ensure condiment and beverage containers are clean and filled
• Absorb and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents

Requirements

• Currently able to obtain Food Handler’s card
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• Lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Maintain compassion and interest in working with the senior population
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor
• Have excellent customer service skills
