Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of patient/resident meals in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, inventory, and patient/resident diets
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of food and supplies
- Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special diets and meals for patients/residents with specific needs
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, residents, and families, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient/resident care and satisfaction
Requirements
- 0 years of experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of nutrition and food service principles
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
