Dietary Aide

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Fort Myers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a 120-bed facility located in the heart of Fort Myers, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, serving, and cleanup in the dining facility
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Restock supplies and perform tasks as needed to ensure efficient food service operations
• Assist with tray service and room service deliveries
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure resident satisfaction and meet dietary needs
• Maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years old or older
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English
• Prior experience in a food service or healthcare setting a plus
• Ability to lift, push, and pull food and supplies as needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
