Dietary Aide

Job Summary

The Dietary Aide works under the supervision of the Culinary Manager. Responsibilities include food preparation, production control, inventory control, kitchen safety, sanitation, equipment use and cleaning/sanitizing, food safety, recipe adherence, therapeutic diets, and modified textured foods and liquids. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, assisting dietary cooks, performing general sanitation and cleaning tasks, and working weekends and holidays with flexible hours.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service
• Minimum one (1) year of food service experience
• Ability to speak, read, and write English to communicate effectively
• Local to Flagstaff, AZ and surrounding areas

Preferred Qualification

• Current ServSafe® certification or Food Handler certification
• Experience working in long term care environment
