About the Role
Swan Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team on a Per Diem basis. As a member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of quality and care for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Portion and serve food items to residents
- Deliver trays and carts to resident floors
- Clean and maintain dining rooms, tray line, dish room, and pot sink areas
- Sweep and mop floors
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Assist with food preparation and meal setup as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to perform some physical work
- Prior experience in food service or cooking is a plus
- Positive attitude and energy are essential
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
Work Environment
- Per Diem position with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Work in our state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility in Patchogue, NY
- Collaborate with our dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our residents
Pay
Competitive hourly rate of $22.15
