Dietary Aide

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and plating dishes
• Dining and table services to residents and guests
• Handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed
• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma/GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full service senior living preferred

• Understanding of infection control procedures
• Multi task and manage stress
• Competent in time management / organizational skills
• Understands and embraces the assisted living philosophy
• Available for weekends, evenings and flexible hours
• Possesses written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
