Position Details
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
Position Summary
The Dietary Aide supports daily dining operations by assisting with meal service, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring residents receive meals that meet their individual dietary needs. This position plays an important role in creating a positive and enjoyable dining experience for our residents.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set up and serve meals in assigned dining areas.
- Assist residents with receiving meals according to their prescribed diet plans.
- Clear and clean dining areas, including resident tables and serving spaces.
- Operate dishwashing equipment and complete proper cleaning and sanitizing of dishes, pots, and pans.
- Maintain food safety standards by properly storing, heating, and refrigerating food.
- Complete required temperature logs and follow sanitation procedures.
- Auxiliary tasks such as preparing and distributing salads, desserts, supplements, and snacks.
- Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, families, and team members.
