Dietary Aide

Responsibilities

• Aid in the proper delivery of meals and nourishments at scheduled times.
• Adhere to regulations and company policies regarding infection control and sanitation of the work area.
• Interact with patients to help them have an enjoyable dining experience.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
• Able to pass a physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility.
• Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training.
• Follow written and/or verbal instructions.

Essential Functions

• Report to work as scheduled or otherwise requested.
• Perform productively in their jurisdiction of work.
• Conform to the basic rules and regulations of the facility.
• Remain in work area unless on break, meal period, or with permission of supervisor.
• Conform to dress and hygiene codes of the facility.
• Exercise proper sanitation procedures.
• Ensure the safety of the residents through adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Attend all mandated meetings and inservices unless otherwise excused.
• Complete all electronic inservices as required.
• Assist in general maintenance of work area.

Exposure Category

• Tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require unplanned Category I tasks.

Pay

• $13.25-$14.00/hr

Schedule

• Full Time Day Shift (6am-2pm)
