About the role
Join the Lorien Encore team as a Dietary Aide and play an important role in supporting resident health and satisfaction through quality meal service. Lorien Encore is seeking compassionate, reliable Dietary Aides to assist with meal preparation and service in our skilled nursing community.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist with meal planning and ordering
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other staff members
- Perform light physical tasks such as lifting and pushing
Requirements
- Full-time hours: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Previous experience as a Dietary Aide, Food Service Worker, or Kitchen Assistant preferred (but not required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
Qualifications
- Full-time benefits: 80 hours vacation + 40 hours sick time (rollover available), personal days, major holidays, double time when worked for all hourly employees
