Dietary Aide

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Dietary Aide to join our Alderwood Life Care Team. Our team is part of Life Care Centers of America, a 47-year-old industry leader with over 200 locations nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in all food service functions to meet patients' dining needs in compliance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Assist in food preparation and serving.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior health-care experience preferred.
• Prior food services experience preferred.
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.

Qualifications

Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior health-care and food services experience are preferred but not required.
