Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals and snacks
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
• Work closely with our nutrition team to ensure meals are prepared according to dietary requirements
• Help to create an organized and efficient workflow in the kitchen
• Provide assistance in food preparation and serving, while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions

• A team player who enjoys working with others to deliver excellent service
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Committed to maintaining a clean and safe workspace
• Eager to learn and take on new challenges
• Previous experience in a kitchen or dietary role is preferred but not essential — comprehensive training is provided to all new team members

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Prior health-care experience preferred
• Prior food services experience preferred
• Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
