Dietary Aide

About the role

As a Dietary Aide at Avantara Huron, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive the high standard of care they have come to expect. You will assist residents with mealtime, ensuring they receive appropriate items according to their dietary needs, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Aid in meal service to residents.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
• Record and monitor food temperatures to maintain safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas.

Requirements

• Minimum tenth (10th) grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
