Responsibilities

• Assist cooks in preparing meals, portioning food, and assembling meal trays according to specific dietary orders.
• Deliver food trays to patient rooms or dining areas, collect used dishes, and ensure residents' needs are met.
• Work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Wash dishes, sanitize kitchen equipment, wipe down tables, and dispose of food waste following infection control policies.
• Interact with residents in a caring manner, accommodating preferences where possible and reporting feedback to the supervising dietitian.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• 6 months of previous adult caregiving OR dietary aide experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
