We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Dietary Aide to enhance the dining experience for our residents. Mealtime is a vital part of each resident’s day—providing not only nourishment, but also comfort, enjoyment, and social connection. Our culinary team plays an essential role in creating flavorful, nutritious meals served in a warm and welcoming environment. Responsibilities
- Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing
- Assist with meal service in a timely and organized manner
- Follow portion control procedures and dietary guidelines
- Perform daily cleaning duties in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining areas to enhance the mealtime experience
- Prepare and deliver snacks and supplemental dietary items as needed
Requirements
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs., and carry items a minimum of 50 feet
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills
