Dietary Aide

Schedule

Part‑Time: 4 pm – 8 pm and every other weekend*

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and serve meals in accordance with planned menus, standardized recipes, and special diet orders.
• Prepare and serve residents’ nutritional bedtime snacks and substitute foods for residents who refuse foods served.
• Ensure food is prepared in accordance with sanitary regulations.
• Perform dishwashing and cleaning procedures, assuring that utensils are readily available for the next meal.
• Prepare and deliver snacks as instructed.
• Deliver food carts/trays to designated areas.
• Serve food and drinks in the dining room as instructed.
• Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen/dish room as instructed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• One (1) year dietary experience in a healthcare facility or other institution is preferred but not required.
