About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in the dietary department.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, serving, and cleaning up of meals and snacks for residents
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining areas, adhering to strict health and safety standards
- Restock supplies and inventory as needed
- Assist with menu planning and meal planning for special diets and occasions
- Ensure that all residents receive their meals and snacks in a timely and respectful manner
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
