Dietary Aide

About the role

Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a reliable and dedicated Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. The Dietary Aide plays a key role in ensuring our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cook as directed by the Food Service Director
• Prepare and label nourishments according to center procedures
• Portion and prepare desserts, salads, and other non-entrée foods; pour and serve beverages
• Follow production sheets and pre-preparation guidelines to ensure accurate food preparation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting
• Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality

Schedule

Part-Time - 4pm-8pm

Pay

Up to $17.00 per hour
