About the role
Excelcare at Dover is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to join their team in a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Waste disposal
- Floor power washing
- Kitchen equipment sanitation
- Auxiliary in meal preparation and serving according to dietary guidelines
- Delivery of trays to resident rooms and dining areas
- Following portion control and sanitation procedures
- Cleaning and sanitizing workstations, equipment, and dishware
- Auxiliary in food storage and inventory rotation
- Providing snacks and hydration as directed
- Supporting special dietary needs and resident preferences
- Collaborating with dietary and nursing staff
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Availability to work every other weekend
