Dietary Aide
Job Summary
Laurel Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join their dietary department. The position requires a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and is part of an enhanced dining program providing culinary excellence.
Essential Functions
- Reads production orders on tray cards
- Places items such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays
- Serves assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature
- May help with food preparation
- Pushes carts to halls or kitchen
- Washes dishes and cleans work area
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Required: Food Handlers' Permit
- Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
- Interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Skills and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment
