Dietary Aide

Job Summary

Wheatcrest Hills Healthcare Center is hiring a Dietary Aide to join their dietary department. They are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and is part of an enhanced dining program that provides culinary excellence.

Essential Functions

• Reads production orders on tray cards
• Places items such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays
• Serves assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature
• May help with food preparation
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Skills and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment
