About the Role
Era Living is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to join the Culinary Services team at Ida Culver House Broadview in North Seattle, WA.
Schedule
Available shifts:
- Tuesday - Thursday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Friday - Saturday: 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Pay
$22.63 per hour

Responsibilities
- Prepare, serve, and clean up meals for assigned Assisted Living and Terrace areas
- Prepare meals in accordance with ordered diets, preferences, and special needs with attention to food production requirements
- Serve meals following the established menu and individual resident food requirements, using proper standards for handling hot/cold menu items
- Set up and load food delivery carts for all meals
- Clear tables, collect service ware, and transport to the dish machine
- Operate and deep clean equipment in the main kitchen, Assisted Living, and Terrace kitchenettes and/or dining rooms
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
- Must meet minimum age requirement of 18 years old to operate kitchen equipment
- Ability to read and understand the Diet Roster for Assisted Living/Terrace residents
- Ability to perform dietary functions in a healthcare setting
- Ability to comply with Universal Precautions, fire safety, infection control, sanitation procedures, and state & federal regulatory requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must pass DSHS background check
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dietary aide in a healthcare setting (preferred)
