Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and menu requirements
- Ensure meals are cooked and served in a timely, sanitary, and appealing manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and utensils
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet resident needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in senior living and previous kitchen knowledge preferred
- Prior cooking or dietary aide experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred but not required
- SERV Safe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Compassionate and professional demeanor
