Dietary Aide

Position Overview

The Dietary Aide supports the dietary team in providing nutritious and appealing meals to residents in a skilled nursing facility. This role involves assisting with meal preparation, serving food, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring that dietary needs are met according to individual resident care plans.

What You’ll Be Doing

• No two days are exactly the same, but you’ll be:
• Preparing and serving meals that are both nutritious and enjoyable
• Helping plate and deliver food that looks as good as it tastes
• Following resident dietary needs (and making sure everyone feels cared for)
• Keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and running smoothly
• Chatting with residents and brightening their day (this part matters more than you think)
• Working alongside a supportive team of dietary staff and caregivers
• Assisting with inventory and keeping things stocked and organized

Requirements

• Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to stay on your feet, move around, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfort working with hot and cold food items
