Dietary Aide

Duties

• Assist with food production, including meal preparation and plating
• Follow dietary restrictions and guidelines when preparing meals
• Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and sanitized
• Set up dining areas for meal service
• Assist with serving meals to residents
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies
• Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dietary Aide or in a similar food service role is preferred
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
• Strong time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Basic cooking skills are a plus
