Dietary Aide

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate team member to support daily food service operations in a healthcare or residential care setting. This role plays an important part in helping ensure meals are served safely, efficiently, and with attention to quality and resident satisfaction.Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and food service according to established guidelines. Deliver meals and snacks to residents or patients in a timely and courteous manner. Support food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining areas, and related workspaces. Wash dishes, clean equipment, and help maintain a clean and organized food service environment. Follow dietary instructions and portion requirements as directed by the care team. Communicate any concerns regarding food preferences, allergies, or special dietary needs to the appropriate staff. Assist with stocking supplies and rotating inventory as needed. Work collaboratively with kitchen, nursing, and support staff to provide a positive dining experience.Qualifications Previous experience in food service, healthcare dining, or a similar environment is helpful, but not always required. Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate items, and perform repetitive tasks as needed. Understanding of basic sanitation and food handling practices preferred.
