Key Responsibilities
- Meal Support: Assist the Dietary Manager and Cook in preparing high-quality meals tailored to resident needs.
- Service Excellence: Deliver food trucks to units promptly; ensure food stations are clean, organized, and inviting.
- Kitchen Care: Handle dishwashing, sanitation of cooking vessels, and silverware to maintain a five-star environment.
- Inventory & Safety: Monitor stock levels and ingredients; strictly follow local, state, and federal regulations and facility compliance programs.
- Efficiency: Manage waste disposal and station cleanup to ensure a seamless kitchen flow.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience as a dietary aide in a nursing home or rehab facility is highly preferred.
- Energy: A positive, creative, and energetic attitude is a must.
- Independence: Ability to take initiative while also being a reliable "team player."
Qualifications
- Ability to follow local, state, and federal regulations and facility compliance programs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
