Dietary Aide

Duties

• Assist the Dietary Manager and Food Service Director with daily kitchen operations
• Prepare and serve meals under the direction of the cook or Food Service Director
• Deliver meal carts to resident units on schedule
• Clean food preparation areas, dining areas, dishes, cookware, utensils, and equipment
• Stock food and supplies while monitoring inventory levels
• Dispose of food waste and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and compliance standards
• Adhere to all facility policies and federal, state, and local regulations

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous dietary aide, food service, restaurant, healthcare, nursing home, or rehabilitation experience is preferred
• A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A reliable, organized, and committed approach to providing exceptional service
