Dietary Aide
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to enhance the dining experience for our residents. Mealtime is a crucial part of their day, offering both nutrition and socialization.
Responsibilities
- Serve meals that are nutritious, palatable, and visually appealing
- Auxiliary in meal service in a timely and organized manner
- Ensure food is served according to portion control procedures
- Perform daily cleaning duties following facility policies and procedures
- Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to enhance the mealtime experience
- Prepare and deliver snacks and additional dietary items as needed
Requirements
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 25 lbs. and carry items a minimum distance of 50 feet
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work at a fast pace with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
